In the midst of all this musical mayhem and prom hullabaloo, I forgot my own birthday. How lame is that? Thankfully, my family did remember. I love packages. |

I know we're going shopping sometime this week, but I couldn't help but do a little research beforehand. I started looking at dresses online, and WHEW! They all seem so expensive for a dress you're only going to wear once. And then you add in the cost of hose and new shoes and maybe some jewelry, too. My old school had something called the Prom Closet. Girls donated dresses they'd already worn and other girls could buy them for a low cost. I doubt there'd be something like that here, but I think it's a really neat idea.
In unrelated news, MGM's financial problems have put the 23rd Bond movie in limbo. Sadness. They can't let Daniel Craig's run end at two.
And my leftover Peeps are perfectly aged. |

USA decided to run a Viewer's Choice marathon of House. I've spent the day like a bump on a log, watching Hugh Laurie at his best. I wish I was still in biology, then I could at least claim the marathon was for extra credit research or something. Ah well. There's still parts of this show that give me the creepy-crawlies. |

Ha ha ha, very funny. Guess I should go drink a 40 or something, since that's the key to success. |

It's just not St. Patrick's Day without a Shamrock Shake. I borrowed a bicycle (thank you and sorry for not asking beforehand to whomever it belongs to!) and picked up that, some fries, and one of the big things of Chicken McNuggets. I can't eat all of these by myself, so if there's any takers, I've got plenty to share! |

I love Oscar night. So many great movies. I didn't get a chance to watch all the nominees yet, but they're all on my list. |

What I wouldn't give to have been at the Olympic games tonight. The Men's programs were breathtaking. And Evan Lyscek absolutely deserved the gold, and is proof you can get the gold without a quad.
Ice dancing starts tomorrow night, and I am so excited. It's going to be a real nail biter between Tessa Virtue/Scott Moir and Tanith Belbin/Benjamin Agosto. Though I would love to see Meryl Davis/Charlie White create an upset. They've been pretty unstoppable. |

This week's batch of secrets seemed much more mild than before.
I'm not complaining at all, mind you. I just think it's interesting and something to note. |

It's awfully quiet around here. The way everyone was going on when the new kids came in, I'd have expected the place to blow up at least once by now. |

It's cookie season. If you want to order Girl Scout cookies, let me know. This year we've got: Thin Mints, Do-Si-Dos, Trefoils, Samoas, Tagalongs, Lemonades, and a new one called Thank You Berry Munch. |

Wait, what. What was that? What project?
I don't think I've even met Nico. I certainly don't remember someone taking my picture.
Holy crap, Mr. Rankin's abs. |

Six days and two thousands miles in a car with my parents. I've crossed pretty much two-thirds of the country and have done touristy road trip stuff the whole way, and all I wanna do now is take a nap. I haven't even unpacked yet, but I did get a quick tour, this neat PDA thing, and I picked out classes. Beginning Combat is like a self-defense class, right? Like, karate and judo and stuff like that? Anyways, it sounded interesting and useful enough.
I'm Oona, and obviously, I'm new. I guess that's a regular thing around here? There's more people here than I had imagined, which is totally neat. So, hi. |
